Backgammon Social @ Xylo - Wednesday 14th January Backgammon Social @ Xylo - Wednesday 14th January @ 7pm (Monthly) Love a bit of backgammon. It’s a great social game that’s easy to learn, well paced and tactical, perfect whilst sipping a few wintery pints. So we’re starting a backgammon social, monthly at first. Come on your own, with your friends, family, lovers or others, grab a drink and and have a game, both Gus and Ben will be on hand to teach you how to play if you’d like to learn and we’ll play a few games with you too. Feel free to bring your own board or use ours (we’ve started collecting them!), grab a takeaway to have in and make a night of it, the big question is, can you stack on the points?! Second Wednesday of the month to start. Game on.

We’ve had this permanent card reader set up on the bar for a while now - simply tap it if you’re enjoying the service and it’ll take a quid that goes straight to the staff on payday. That Thing // 3.4% // Session IPA Superdelic, El That Thing // 3.4% // Session IPA Superdelic, El Dorado, and Motueka by the bucket load create a trinity of citrus, stone fruit, and tangy white grape. It may be low in abv and practically no bitterness at all, but it still packs a punch with oodles of flavour! It's a vibrant golden, juicy little number and we can't quite put our finger on it but it's just got 'that thing' you want in a fruity IPA. #brewedinmargate #beertography #session #lowabv #fruity #thatthing

The meeting of two titans, Superdelic and Nectaron create an out of this world fruit salad bomb, backed up by the infamous Mosaic with it's mango and passion fruit aroma, all sitting proud on a bed of luscious rolled oats and torrefied wheat for a proper juicy, creamy, and chunky NEIPA! We've dabbled with Nectaron and Superdelic in various recent brews, and realised if you want an over the top, in your face juice bomb, a blend of the two is going to give you just that, but it needs something to glue it together, so we assigned that task to Mosaic (spectrum) because why wouldn't we overload an already slammed beer with even more juice??
