Brewed with a new yeast strain said to impart bright pineapple flavours it's something a little different to our usual beers. ** V IS FOR VIENNA ** It's back, and it's better ** V IS FOR VIENNA ** It's back, and it's better than ever, with a few tweaks and a shiny new face, our Vienna Lager is dropping on tap and can tomorrow!! A glorious sweet toffee vibe runs through this wintery lager, with subtle toasted biscuit and a hint of winter berries. We lowered the abv from previous batches, and switched to a cleaner yeast, along with a more balanced water profile and oh boy was it worth it. What an absolute beaut! A TRIPLE dry hopped IPA just landed on the taps at Xylo HQ, and not only that, it's rolling off the labelling machine as we speak, and available in 440ml cans NOW! We love a juice bomb, so we've brewed quite possibly the juiciest juice bomb we've ever brewed! We took selected feedback from our previous releases and conjured up this absolute screamer. It's chunky, it's juicy, it's full of attitude and it's roaming the streets looking for prey! ** INTRODUCING ** No Comply // Session IPA // 3.4 ** INTRODUCING ** No Comply // Session IPA // 3.4% We've been super happy with the recent feedback on our low abv beers, often hearing "There's a real big flavour for a such a little beer" and that's exactly what we set out to do! Here we go again with this little beauty. It's crisp and refreshing with bold lemon and lime, backed up with subtle tropical tones from the hop combo of Citra, Simcoe, and Motueka. No wheat or oats in sight, but a generous helping of biscuit malt gives a solid base for the hops to shine. We took a punt on a new (to us) hop variety Elani, found growing in the wild in Idaho, said to impart pineapple, white peach, lime and guava flavours and paired it with an experimental hop yet to be named, known to give sweet and bright citrus flavours. Well.... Sometimes you just pick a winner! It's definitely bright and refreshing, with enough citrus vibes to last all summer. We had a blast at this year's @lcbfestival our las We had a blast at this year's @lcbfestival our last festival of the season, so much so we forgot to take many photos to share, so if you have any, please tag us 🤗! Thanks to everyone that came to see us, to help out, to support us and enjoy some great beers. It was an honour to pour alongside our fellow brewers on the Raise The Bar stand, friendships were made, and ideas were born. Watch this space for exciting things to come! We’ve got 2 fantastic beers on Saturday from @queerbrewing - 50% of profits from the sale of these beers will go to @margatepride - come get them quick! Queer Brewing is a queer- and trans-owned brewery whose aim is to increase visibility and representation for LGBTQ+ people through beer. They produce a range of beers, from an iconic witbier through to delicious pales and IPAs, and everything in between. The Beers! Pride Pils - 5.2% - QB brewed this Pride Pils to celebrate Pride in all its forms across the UK this summer. QB donate 10% of profits of this beer to the brilliant Opening Doors London, who provide support and services to LGBTQ+ people over 50 in the UK. Fishnet Pale Ale - 4.9% - Fishnet is the first in a new series of beers with the theme of playing with pairing beers to queer fashion, with plenty of Mosaic and Simcoe in the whirlpool and dry hop. Expect pineapple and tropical notes, berry pops, and a little pine. Xylo will be open from 11:30am so if you’re not joining the parade come grab a table to watch the wonderful wall of colour and life pass by (parade starts at Walpole at midday). We’ve got extra sound and a disco tracklist all day. Make sure you check out as many of the amazing @margatepride events and associated parties as possible.
